ASSAFI is a Swiss non-profit organization based in Meyrin, Geneva, supporting

• CEMADEF – its first partner in DRC, situated in Ituri – since 2005.
• lately, a new partner in Kongo Central, on the West cost

CEMADEF

CEMADEF is a multidisciplinary women’s empowerment project whose mission it is to boost income-generating activities for 9000 women in the Ituri Province through a microcredit programme.

In addition to financial support, monthly training sessions are provided to all members on topics such as small business management, health, education, civil and human rights, conflict resolution, etc.
